State & Society

Państwo i Społeczeństwo / State & Society is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by AFM Publishing House of Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University. Since 2001, the journal has served as an interdisciplinary platform for research on public institutions, health systems, social structures, governance, education, management, spatial development, and quality of public life.

The journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and editorial commentaries in health sciences, social sciences, management and quality sciences, public administration, pedagogy, psychology, communication and media studies, architecture, and urban planning. It particularly values methodologically rigorous, interdisciplinary, comparative, and policy-relevant contributions.

State and Society is published in open access and does not charge authors any submission, processing, or publication fees.

Articles and issues of the journal are available in electronic form under an open access licence CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 PL.

The journal is indexed in the ICI Journals Master List (85,56) and is included in the official list of scientific journals of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW), with an assigned value of 40 points.
