Long-Term Archiving Policy
The journal ensures the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content through a multi-level digital preservation strategy. The implemented mechanisms are intended to safeguard the scholarly record against data loss and ensure the continued availability of published articles.
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a long-term digital preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project and based on LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) technology. This system creates a distributed preservation network that securely stores content across multiple independent nodes, protecting publications against data loss resulting from technical failures, system errors, or other unforeseen circumstances.
UAFM Institutional Repository (DSpace)
In addition, full-text articles published by the journal are archived in the institutional repository of the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University, operating on the DSpace platform:
The repository serves as an additional preservation and dissemination mechanism by providing secure storage, stable access, and long-term availability of published content.
Through the use of multiple independent preservation mechanisms, the journal seeks to ensure the security, integrity, and continued accessibility of its scholarly content.
