Security: Theory and Practice

Security: Theory and Practice, a journal of the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University, has been published since 2007 (the first issue as Problemy Bezpieczeństwa / Security Issues) and is addressed to a wide range of recipients interested in the issues of security management at the national, local (including city security) and business levels. Topics addressed in the journal include: public security management, crisis management, ecological and energy security management, as well as security problems in the objective and subjective dimension, international security, information security and practical activities in this area, also in relation to the activities of non-profit organizations and current legislative activities.

Security: Theory and Practice is published in open access and does not charge authors any submission fees, editorial processing charges, article processing charges, page charges, colour charges, or publication fees.

Articles and issues of the journal are available in electronic form under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.

The complete historical archive of issues and articles published before the launch of the current OJS platform remains available at https://btip.ka.edu.pl/.

The journal is included in the official list of scientific journals of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, with an assigned value of 40 points.
