Prof. Dr. hab. Angelo Viglianisi Ferraro

Angelo Viglianisi Ferraro is Professor of Private Law and Erasmus Coordinator at the Department of Law, Economics and Humanities of the Università “Mediterranea” of Reggio Calabria.

He is Head of the Mediterranea International Centre for Human Rights Research and Director of a postdoctoral programme in New Technologies and Law and an international LLM programme in European Private Law.

He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Cracow University of Economics in Poland, Parul University in Vadodara, India, and the Federal University of Sergipe in Brazil.

He has been a speaker at conferences, seminars and round tables, and has served as a guest lecturer for students and PhD candidates at more than 140 universities in Europe, South America and Asia.

He is a member of the scientific boards of several international journals, research centres and study groups. He is the author of four monographs and the editor of 26 books. He has also written numerous peer-reviewed articles on civil liability, consumer law, antitrust law, family law and fundamental rights.
