Studies in Law. Research Papers is a peer-reviewed academic journal whose guiding idea is to create a space for reliable and multidimensional debate on contemporary and future challenges facing law. The articles published in the journal address issues of key importance from the perspective of the development of legal scholarship and legal practice, both from a doctrinal and a critical-analytical perspective.
The journal focuses in particular on issues at the intersection of law, technology, and society, addressing such topics as artificial intelligence, the medicine of the future, the digitalisation of law, bioethics, and the modern administration of justice. Our aim is to support the development of the “law of the future” — reflection on how dynamic technological, scientific, and social progress affects the shaping and functioning of contemporary legal systems.
The thematic scope of the journal covers all fundamental branches of law, both public and private. The journal publishes original scholarly articles, case comments, and case studies concerning, among others, constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, administrative law, medical law, international law, and new technologies law.
Studies in Law. Research Papers is addressed to all those interested in current issues in legal studies, in particular representatives of the academic community and legal practitioners.
