Author Guidelines
- Thematic Scope
We publish works that provide in-depth analysis of contemporary and future challenges to law, with particular emphasis on the impact of new technologies and social transformations. We invite submissions on topics including artificial intelligence, future medicine, bioethics, the digitization of law, and issues at the intersection of law, technology, and society. We accept scholarly articles, commentaries, and literature reviews in the fields of national and international law, public and private law, dogmatics, and legal theory and philosophy. The editors also accept interdisciplinary texts, provided they are related to legal issues or the main theme of a given issue.
Please formulate your topic consciously and thoughtfully – innovative issues that have not yet been comprehensively covered in the literature are particularly valuable.
- Use of Literature
We encourage authors to utilize scholarly work published in reputable journals and monographs, especially those indexed in international databases such as Scopus or Web of Science. Whenever possible, please include publications that are thematically relevant to the article's subject matter – not only by citing them, but also by providing substantive references to their findings, theses, and arguments.
We also recommend reviewing articles published in previous issues of Studies in Law: Research Papers. These can serve as valuable references, especially in the context of the issues addressed and the journal's profile. If the subject matter of the article allows, we encourage you to include selected publications in the bibliography and refer to the analyses presented therein.
