Krakowskie Studia Międzynarodowe / Krakow International Studies

Krakowskie Studia Międzynarodowe / Krakow International Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by AFM Publishing House on behalf of Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University. It has been published as a scholarly journal since 2005, and since 2016, its primary version has been the electronic edition.

Since 2026, Krakowskie Studia Międzynarodowe / Krakow International Studies has been published annually in a continuous publication model. Papers are published online immediately following the completion of peer review, editing, and production, and are then assigned to the current annual volume.

The journal publishes articles in both English and Polish. In line with our internationalization strategy, authors are strongly encouraged to submit manuscripts in English, which is the preferred language for all new submissions.

The journal is published in an Open Access format and charges no author fees. There are no Article Submission Charges, Article Processing Charges (APCs), or fees for peer review, page count, color illustrations, or any other part of the editorial and publishing process.

Articles and issues of the journal are available electronically under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

The journal is indexed in the official list of academic journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, with an assigned score of 20 points.
