Digital Preservation and Long-Term Access
Medicine and Public Health ensures the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content through a multi-level digital preservation strategy. The implemented mechanisms are designed to safeguard the scholarly record against data loss and to ensure the continued availability of published articles.
Preservation Strategy
The journal uses complementary preservation and access mechanisms to protect published content, maintain its integrity, and support reliable long-term dissemination.
PKP Preservation Network
The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a long-term digital preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project.
The service is based on LOCKSS technology — Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe — and creates a distributed preservation network that securely stores content across multiple independent nodes.

Full-text articles published by the journal are also archived in the institutional repository of Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University, operating on the DSpace platform.
