Expansion and modernization of Polish grain terminals in the mid-2020s

Abstract
The aim of this article is to present the potential of selected Polish grain terminals and their modernization. According to the author, as a result of the ongoing investments, Polish terminals will be sufficiently prepared for the delivery, storage, and transport of grain. Measures to improve the performance of the ports of Gdańsk, Gdynia, Szczecin and Świnoujście were presented, especially in the context of competition from German infrastructure. Furthermore, the author shows the obstacles to modernize the infrastructure and negative aspects of the investments. The author uses a comparative and prognostic method.
